Jon Favreau caused quite a stir by expressing his doubts that Iron Man 2 could be completed by the 2010 release date announced by Marvel. He should be thankful he is not working on the new Conan film.

Because the reboot of Robert E. Howard’s most famous character does not have a director, no actor has been cast and the script might not even be completed yet.

What it does have is a 2009 release date and a just released teaser poster with that stamped right on it.

 

 So, I’m likely to say that release date is a tad optomistic!
