Some LORD OF THE RINGS: EXTENDED EDITION Details

While there has been no official announcement yet on their release, Amazon has recently posted a product page for a blu-ray edition of a box set of the Extended Editions of Peter Jackson’s Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. The list of the special features below seems to encompass all the extra material produced so far for previous DVD releases.

Unfortunately, there is no word yet on an actual release date for the set. Amazon not-so-helpfully states that it is “scheduled to be released on Blu-ray in 2011 or 2012.”

Looks like they haven’t added anything to the DVD extended editions. Maybe some different extras & commentaries.
