Willis and Schwarzenegger Join Stallone For EXPENDABLES 2

If you liked that scene in Sylvester Stallone’s The Expendables where the action star was joined by Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger for a quick scene poking fun at the days when they were the kings of action films, you should be happy to know that Willis and Schwarzenegger have signed on to much bigger roles for The Expendables 2.

Given the great interplay that the three actors had in their short scene together in the first film, it should be fun to see how they play off each other with expanded roles.

For Willis, this is just the beginning of a string of action films. After he finishes work on this project he moves on to film Die Hard 5 in Russia and then a sequel to2009’s Red. Schwazenegger, meanwhile, isn’t set to do any other project until the Jee-Won Kim-directed action film Last Stand starts up next year.

The Expendables 2 is set for an August 17, 2012 release and will feature Simon West taking over directorial duties from Stallone.
