Warwick Davis Will Be In STAR WARS: EPISODE VII

Although it has been actively shooting for months now, we’re getting word of another cast member being added to Star Wars: Episode VII.

Warwick Davis, best known to Star Wars fans for playing the role of Wicket in 1983’s Return Of The Jedi and to a lesser extent the two made-for TV Ewok films, announced via a YouTube video (below) that he would be returning to the franchise for the new installment. There’s no word yet as to what role he will be playing, but odds are that it won’t be a reprise of Wicket. (One hopes.)

This wouldn’t be Davis’ first return to the Star Wars series. In 199-‘s Episode I: The Phantom Menace he played two small roles – Weazel and Wald. Outside of the Star Wars franchise he has appeared in the Harry Potter series as Professor Flitwick amd in The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian as Nikabrik. He also headlined the 198- fantasy Willow and the 1990s Leprechaun horror series.
