I met Steve 10 years ago after being a long-time listener to his radio show. We hit it off immediately and became friends. My fiance and I were invited to his show numerous times and we loved every second of it. We’ve also had the pleasure to be in the company of his lovely wife and beautiful daughter, both of whom are truly amazing people. I loved Steve dearly and I will miss him the rest of my days. For those of you who never got a chance to meet him in person, he was just as you’d imagine him to be– Warm, friendly, funny and kind. There will never be another like him.

GB3 WILL happen, but its obvious that itll feature an entirely new main cast, with possible cameos from most of the previous. Killing off the old cast as an introduction would be an interesting start, but how theyll manage to make GB3 a good film whilst not being a simple rip off of the original movies, will be interesting to find out- if they can pull it off. GB2 was a rip off of GB1 in the sense that it followed exactly the same main formula, but there were enough good ideas in there to make it an (arguably) enjoyable watch, despite the terrible reviews at the time. Will GB3 end up being simply GhostBusters with Ben Stiller or Will Ferrel running around with proton packs.. we will have to wait and see. Id like to see an unknown cast with talent rather than the obvious!

dRuEffect- As of now, Cinemagic is only available through Sirius’s online service. Hopefully they’ll find room to get it back on their broadcast line up as well soon.

i dont understand something… i love cinemagic… i listen to it on my iphone when i go to sleep.. in fact i did so last night… I went to add it to my StarPlayr app on my Mac and i couldnt find the station… so i googled and wound up here… seems like Cinemagic still exists on the iPhone app, but is not offered in their channel lists.. in the iphone there are no channel numbers, it’s just listed under “Jazz, Blues, & Standards”… so for you Cinemagic fans, go get yourself an iPhone or iPod Touch…

Ever wonder why XM stock went down to pennies before they were took over by SIRIUS? It’s hard to justify a company with piss poor service for such a high price. Especially when you contemplate free stations over the air. Channel 81, the pseudo-disco channel, sounds like about 40 other disco channels. What happened to the soundtrack channel Cinemagic? You don’t have a soundtrack channel, not even one. No customer based service or regard for its listeners is why stock for SIRIUS is down from $3.85 to a embarrassing ,83 cents. Look for a place to land, SIRIUS. Your price and your lack of service might land you in Chapter 13.

If you listen to Kevin’s Smodcast, he did it because of the flight he actually made it on. He had two seats and was at the window. A larger girl was seated in the aisle seat. A flight attendant pulled her off the plane and gave her crap about not buying another seat. She was seated next to an empty seat so it didn’t manner. They did let her back on the flight after the embarrassment. Kevin is upset because the airline did almost the same thing to her two hours after they did it to him.

To cut off the naysayers at the pass, I doubt Smith is doing this for publicity for his new film COP OUT opening next weekend. None of the other publicity for the film has used his name as a selling point for the flick, so how would getting his name in the press over this help the film?

Groan.

I have to issue a caveat here, I don’t like 3-D. I always get either a headache or a faint bit of queasiness when I watch it and, being that I wear eyeglasses, wearing the 3-D glasses is a logistical impossibility.

That being said, I don’t see how making the next Spider-Man film be in 3-D would actually make it better. Is the fad that popular that it will make up for the uncertainty of it being a reboot? Yes, the web-swinging in the film makes it a logical choice for 3-D, but what about the scenes when Peter is not in costume? Will characterization go out the window to make way for some 3-D friendly fight scenes and effects?

Sam Raimi had a gimmick to make his films more appealing too. It was called story and characterization.

Also, Johns was an assistant to SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE director Richard Donner and his current mini-series “Superman: Secret Origins” is some pretty solid writing. My only complaint about Johns writing a SUPERMAN film would be the possibility of the assignment taking time from his voluminous comics work which I am enjoying.

Different origin, yes. Same power set and same name, though. Changing the name to “The Torch” wouldn’t help too much in my opinion, especially if it’s only shortening it. You’d need to change the powers, look and name of the character, which would make it essentially a different character.

I just want to see if Union Jack makes the cut, and if they keep his costume the same.

I don’t know… The Golden Age/World War 2 version of the Human Torch is definitely a different character than the Fantastic Four character. All they share is a name. Though I could see them possibly changing the name, perhaps shortening it to just The Torch.
