Cinemagic Returns To Sirius Radio. . . Sort Of

Cinemagic, the movie soundtrack channel, is back at Sirius Satellite Radio… sort of.

The channel, which started on XM Satellite Radio, was ported over to Sirius when the two services merged late last year. However, Sirius subscribers only got to listen to the channel for approximately a week, before Sirius removed the channel in favor of a `70s disco-themed channel.

In a bit of a mixed blessing, though, Sirius has brought back the channel, but is only making it available through their online service. Which really isn’t all that convenient if you’re on a car trip and hoping to have music from some favorite movies helping to make the trip that much easier.

Come one Sirius, you’re half way there. Find a spot for Cinemagic on your regular lineup.

Cinemagic is the best channel in the entire network. I miss not having this quality program on long drives. Why is it I can catch five football games, two baseball and a soccer but cannot hear more than a couple of programs for mature adult listening? Please add my comments to the many of us that patiently await full-time broadcasts of “Cinemagic”.
