Required Viewing: TCM’s End Of The World Marathon (And We Feel Fine)

PanicYearZeroWhether or not you think the Mayans are right about this whole end-of-the-world thing, Turner Classic Movies is using the day to present you with an all-day marathon of classic apocalypse and post-apocalypse movies tomorrow.

The seven films run the gamut between biological doomsdays (The Satan Bug) to zombie apocalypses (The Last Man On Earth) to post-nuclear wastelands (Five, Panic In Year Zero).

I would recommend just taking the day off, plopping on the couch and enjoying all the films because if you DVR them and the Mayans were right, you won’t be around to watch them later!

Here’s the schedule –
7:00 am – The Lost Missile (1958)
8:30 am – The Satan Bug (1965)
10:30 am – The Last Man On Earth (1964)
Noon – The Bed Sitting Room (1969)
2:00 pm – Five (1954)
4:00 pm – Panic in Year Zero (1962)
6:00 pm – The World, The Flesh And The Devil (1959)
