First Clip From Cauron’s GRAVITY Is A Vertigo-Inducing Single Shot Masterpiece

Gravity

This past weekend, Warner Brothers debuted a short clip from Alfonso Cuaron’s science-fiction thriller Gravity, starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock, that left the audience buzzing. The studio has now put the short clip online and it is stunning. In just a short minute-and-a-half the director moves his camera through the action already glimpsed at in the trailer that sets up the film’s story. And through this single shot, Cauron manages to ramp the tension exponentially in just that short time. This easily outdoes the amazing long single shot scene he received acclaim for in City Of Men a few years ago.

And as a bonus, below the clip is a video of the Comic Con panel from this past weekend.

Gravity hits theaters October 4, but will be premiering before that at the Toronto International Film Festival.
