CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Trailer Released

Thank you, Mr. Kimmel!

CACW screen capSometimes, corporate synergy is a wonderful thing.

On tonight’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, which airs on ABC, which is owned by Disney, which also owns Marvel, the first official trailer for Captain America: Civil War aired. And, hoo boy, is it a good one.

Granted, this is the first real glimpse we had at the film, and not a lot is revealed, but we get an idea of what the film will entail (and what rumors are true). It appears the government is stepping in to oversee Cap’s Avengers, most likely because he’s taken his pal, Bucky, a.k.a. The Winter Soldier, into the fold. This will put him into direct conflict with Iron Man and lead to a handicap match we see in the trailer.

We also get a glimpse of who else is in the movie, a few fleeting shots of Black Panther and William Hurt as General Thunderbolt Ross, who seems to be playing the role of Henry Peter Gyrich in this film.

The trailer is attached below and below that three posters that Marvel has also released. Watch it and, if you’re like me, you’ll not be able to wait for May 6, 2016 to arrive.
