The First GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 Teaser Trailer Is Here

While we’ll probably see the first full trailer for James Gunn’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 next month attached to the release of Marvel’s Doctor Strange, Gunn has whetted our appetite for what he has in store for the sequel by releasing a short teaser trailer today.

If you’re hoping for a look at some of the new characters Gunn is introducing into the sequel then you are out of look. He is holding those back for the time being, so it will be some point in the future when we will get to see Kurt Russell as Ego and Pom Klementieff as Mantis.

Gunn is also holding back on anything that really hints at the story he will be telling in the sequel as well. Although, if I had to guess based on the shot of Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and Drax (Dave Bautista) walking down a ramp from some wreckage and a look back over her shoulder that Gamora gives a little earlier in the teaser hints to me that we might see Star-Lord’s ship the Milano crashing on some planet, temporarily stranding the trio.

We’ll find out more as we inexorably march towards the release of Guardians Of The Galaxy, Vol. 2 on May 5, 2017.
