Big Picture Podcast: The Fantastic Four Vs Ant-Man And The Wasp

It’s a light news week but that is not going to stop FilmBuffOnline Editor-In-Chief Rich Drees and FilmBuffOnline Contributing Writer Natasha Bogutzki. In this week’s episode they span the history of Marvel Comics at the movies from what would have been the first big screen adaptation of the Fantastic Four to the latest installment in the MCU, the just released Ant-Man and the Wasp. First off is an interview with Marty Langford, the director of the documentary Doomed: The Untold Story Of Roger Corman’s Fantastic Four, which has recently become available on the Sundance Now streaming app. Then, Rich and Natasha take a look at the latest Marvel Studios product to hit the screen, Ant-Man And The Wasp, and try to see how it fits into the overall Marvel Cinematic Universe.
