And it was almost exactly a year ago<\/a> that we thought that the possibility of a remake starring Will Smith and directed by Steven Spielberg was finally a dead deal in Hollywood. Pajiba<\/a> is reporting that Mandate Pictures is still developing the film and are excited by the script draft that writer Mark Protosevich is currently working on.<\/p>\n
