This time he will be looking for a leading man for his science-fiction thriller as the previously attached Robert Downey Jr has dropped out of the project.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s no word as to why Downey dropped out, but it could be his busy schedule, as was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2010\/10\/25\/is-downey-leaving-caurons-gravity\/\" target=\"_blank\">speculated<\/a> last month. Currently Downey is wrapping up work on <strong>Sherlock Holmes 2<\/strong> before heading off to do <strong>The Avengers<\/strong> next February and Sam Raimi&#8217;s <strong>Oz, The Great And Powerful<\/strong> next summer. He is also attached to<strong> Iron Man 3<\/strong>, a bio-pic about Edgar Allen Poe and a big screen adaptation of the 1970s series <strong>Emergency!<\/strong>, though all three projects are not scheduled yet.<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t say that this comes as much of a surprise.
