The specter of the Watergate scandal didn’t disappear with the resignation of President Richard Nixon on August 9, 1974. It hung over the American cultural landscape, waiting to be exorcised. That cleansing came, in part, through a series of\u00a0extraordinary interviews the ex-President gave to British journalist David Frost in 1977. The machinations that culminated in that interview were adapted for stage in\u00a02006 by\u00a0Peter Morgan\u00a0and now director Ron Howard is bringing the story to the big screen with Frost\/Nixon on December 5.
