\"\"<\/a>The best visual effects are often not the big spectacular ones, but the ones that you don’t even realize are visual effects. Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan<\/strong> is one of those films that featured numerous visual effects to help tell the story of a ballerina’s descent into madness and the effectiveness of those effects comes from their subtlety and grounding in reality.<\/p>\n

Look FX have released a demo real of the work they did for Black Swan<\/strong> and it is interesting to see how they contributed to the film. They still are responsible for several of the film’s memorable moments, some of which may have eluded audiences the first time they saw the film.<\/p>\n

Be warned, this video gives away a few surprises and a major reveal from the film’s finale. Needless to say, if you haven’t seen the film yet, avoid these spoilers until you do.<\/p>\n
