His 2006 film <strong>Severance<\/strong> is an hysterical comedic take on slasher films while 2009&#8217;s <strong>Triangle<\/strong> is an effective thriller. I can see how Lionsgate would be interested in him directing the project based on this previous work and how he did it on a low budget.
