\"\"<\/a>Last Sunday on CinemaBlend’s Weekly Blend podcast, Kevin Smith mentioned<\/a> that the science fiction project he has mentioned in recent interviews as being a possible future project is not the Ranger Danger<\/strong> kids adventure movie that he has mentioned in the past. Instead, Smith feels “this new thing has kind of replaced it [Ranger Danger<\/strong>]\u00a0as something I want to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

In recent interviews, Smith has mentioned that he wants to work again with Seth Rogen, the star of his upcoming comedy Zack And Miri Make A Porno<\/strong>, possibly in this as-yet-unnamed film.<\/p>\n

Previously, Smith has teased fans about the film through a t-shirt worn by Jeff Anderson’s character Randall wore in Clerks II<\/strong>. When Smith originally talked about the film – its full name is Ranger Danger And The Danger Rangers<\/strong> – he described it as a science fiction adventure along the lines of Flash Gordon<\/strong>. The one image connected to the film and featured on Anderson’s shirt show a hero with a rocket pack much like 1940s serial hero Commando Cody or the high flying adventurer from 1991’s The Rocketeer<\/strong>. Smith has stated that he is a fan of the latter film, having bought one of the film’s prop jet packs and using it as set direction in his 2001\u00a0film Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
