It seems like it was just a few hours ago that I was\u00a0posting<\/a> up\u00a0next week’s\u00a0cover of Entertainment Weekly<\/em>, featuring Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto as Captain Kirk and Mister Spock in the upcoming Star Trek<\/strong> relaunch. In that post I predicted seeing more pictures from the film in the near future. I just didn’t expect it to be this soon. Paramount has released six new images, one to each of six different website. But rather than jump all over the internet, we have them all here for you.<\/p>\n

First up is a view of the USS Enterprise bridge, courtesy of MTV Movies Blog<\/a>\u00a0(Click to enlarge)\u00a0–<\/p>\n

Standing between Pine and Quinto is Karl Urban, who will be playing the irrascible Dr. “Bones” McCoy. On the far right of the picture you can just barely see John Cho as Sulu.<\/p>\n

According to co-producer Damon Lindelof, Kirk is wearing a black shirt instead of his regular command gold uniform for a reason that springs from the storyline. Also, Lindelof stated that Abrams was insistant that all of the controls have a “functionality,” presumably to add a versilimitude to the film.<\/p>\n

AintItCool<\/a>\u00a0has this photo of Mr. Spock seemingly\u00a0letting slip that cold, unemotional mask Vulcan’s usually wear.<\/p>\n

IGN<\/a> has this spoilerish picture of Kirk climbing out of an ice pit at the bottom of which lies something that looks like an escape pod from the Enterprise<\/em>.<\/p>\n

From JoBlo<\/a> comes this creepy\u00a0shot of the villain, the Romulan Nero, played\u00a0by Eric Bana.<\/p>\n

The USS Kelvin has certainly seen\u00a0better days than what is going down in this picture sent to TrekMovie<\/a>.\u00a0This starship is under the command of Captain Robau (Faran Tahir) with George Kirk (Chris Hemsworth)\u00a0as first officer.<\/p>\n

Finally, Ugo has this nice cast shot of the crew of the Enterprise<\/em>. From left to right we have Anton Yelchin as Checkov, Pine, Simon Pegg as Lt. Scott, Urban,Cho\u00a0and Zoe Saldana as Uhuru.<\/p>\n
