As of now, the movie will be known as <strong>Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes<\/strong>. While some may find the addition of the classic prepositional phrase makes the title a bit cumbersome, as a long time <strong>Planet Of The Apes<\/strong> I think that it works just perfectly.<\/p>\n<p>Most people will get their first taste of the title next weekend, when the film&#8217;s first teaser trailer is expected to debut.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t the first time that the film has undergone a name change. It was originally developed by Fox under the title <strong>Ceasar<\/strong>, the name of the ape who lead the revolt against the apes&#8217; human slavers in the fourth installment of the original series <strong>Conquest Of The Planet Of The Apes<\/strong>. The name was later changed to <strong>Ceasar: Rise Of The Apes<\/strong> and then shortened slightly to just <strong>Rise Of The Apes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The film stars James Franco, John Lithgow, Don Cheadle, Freida Pinto, Brian Cox and Andy Serkis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\">Twentieth Century Fox&#8217;s prequel\/reboot of the Planet Of The Apes franchise, Rise Of The Apes, has undergone a slight title change.
