Sure sequels to <strong>Iron Man<\/strong>, <strong>Thor<\/strong> and <strong>Captain America<\/strong> are pretty much known quantities at this point, but what will a movie about a superhero who can shrink and communicate with ants from the director of <strong>Shaun Of The Dead<\/strong> and <strong>Scott Pilgrim Vs The World<\/strong> be like? Well, hopefully, pretty damn awesome, but there is still room for a potential misfire.<\/p>\n<p>Over the weekend, Joe Cornish, Wright&#8217;s co-writer on the project, announced at the London comic book convention Kapow! that this past week they have turned in a second draft of the script to the studio.<\/p>\n<p>When pressed for information about any potential storyline for the script, Cornish remained tight-lipped except to rule out speculation that it was based on writer Robert Kirkman&#8217;s recent short-lived <em>The Irredeemable Ant-Man<\/em> comic book series. The series featured a low-level agent of the spy organization SHIELD stealing a version of the original Ant-Man&#8217;s costume and shrinking equipment and using it for sometimes less-than-heroic deeds.<\/p>\n<p>While Wright is a well known entity among genre fans, Cornish is not. That should change relatively soon, as he is the writer and director of <strong>Attack The Block<\/strong>, which was screened to almost universal positive reviews at the SXSW festival in Austin last month.
