Her body was discovered by a neighbor who had noticed that the mail in the actress&#8217;s mailbox was old and starting to turn yellow. Authorities stated that the condition of her remains suggest that she could have been dead for at least a year. She was 82.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Yvette majored in picture and theater arts at UCLA for three years before launching a modeling career. Her first film role was a small role in the 1950 classic <strong>Sunset Boulevard<\/strong> which went uncredited. Her career both blossomed and waned through the 1950s with appearances in <strong>Attack of the 50-Foot Woman<\/strong> (1958) and <strong>Attack of the Giant Leeches<\/strong> (1959)marking her biggest roles.<\/p>\n<p>In 1959 she appeared in the July issue of <em>Playboy<\/em> as their Playmate of the Month in a photo lay out shot by future director Russ Meyer.
