Previously Mia Wasikowska and Anne Hathaway both flirted with taking the role, but passed.<\/p>\n<p>The film takes Jane Austen&#8217;s classic novel and sets it against a zombie outbreak in 18th century England.<\/p>\n<p>If a deal is reached, Stone would become the first cast member to join the project. There&#8217;s no word yet as to when the movie will start production and Lionsgate has yet to schedule a release date for it.
