Over the weekend, a letter from Transformers studio Paramount and signed by Bay has circulated with the director imploring projectionists to have theater projectors set to the proper brightness.<\/p>\n<p>(Of course, the letter doesn&#8217;t take into account that many theater chains that have gone all digital have all but eliminated the position of projectionist, instead leaving the job of starting and stopping a film to a manager or usher or just having the projectors on a timer.
