In addition to working as a writer on The Simpsons, Payne wrote<strong> My Super Ex-Girlfriend<\/strong> and worked on an early draft of <strong>Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer<\/strong>. Certainly not a resume that inspires confidence. But since Marvel has yet to have released a full-on stinker of a film yet so I&#8217;m supposing that Payne must have gone into a meeting with the Marvel Studio brass with one hell of a pitch.
