Karslake<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lake of Fire<\/strong>&#8211; directed by Tony Kaye<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nanking<\/strong>&#8211; directed by Bill Guttentag and Dan Sturman<\/li>\n<li><strong>No End in Sight<\/strong>&#8211; directed by Charles Ferguson<\/li>\n<li><strong>Operation Homecoming<\/strong> &#8211; Writing the Wartime Experience,- directed by Richard Robbins<\/li>\n<li><strong>Please Vote For Me<\/strong>&#8211; directed by Wejun Chen<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Price of Sugar<\/strong>&#8211; directed by Bill Haney<\/li>\n<li><strong>A Promise to the Dead: The Exile Journey of Ariel Dorfman<\/strong>&#8211; directed by Peter Raymont<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Rape of Europa<\/strong>&#8211; directed by Richard Berge and Bonni Cohen<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sicko<\/strong>&#8211; directed by Michael Moore<\/li>\n<li><strong>Taxi to the Dark Side<\/strong>&#8211; directed by Alex Gibney<\/li>\n<li><strong>War\/Dance<\/strong>&#8211; directed by Sean Fine and Andrea Nix Fine<\/li>\n<li><strong>White Light\/Black Rain<\/strong>&#8211; directed by Steven Okazaki<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I&#8217;ve only seen a few of the nominated films, so I can&#8217;t speak to the others&#8217; worth. Still, I am a bit surprised that such critical well received films as <strong>In The Shadow Of The Moon<\/strong> and <strong>The King Of Kong<\/strong> didn&#8217;t make the cut.<\/p>\n<p>Out of these 15, five films will be selected to be placed on the ballot for Oscar voting.
