His brother Tony is currently in negotiations to direct a remake of the Sam Peckinpah classic <strong>The Wild Bunch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The original film tells the story of an aging outlaw gang who are trying to cope with having outlived the wild west-era in which they thrived. And for as many critics who praised Peckinpah for the film&#8217;s story, themes and craftsmanship, there seems to have been an equal number who rose to\u00a0 condemn it for its levels of violence.<\/p>\n<p>This puts another project onto Scott&#8217;s already crowded plate. He is currently trying to get <strong>Hell&#8217;s Angels<\/strong> ready to be his next film to be in front of the cameras. However, he has yet to lock down a star. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.deadline.com\/2011\/08\/tony-scott-boarding-the-wild-bunch-while-revving-hells-angels-as-next-pic\/\" target=\"_blank\">Deadline<\/a> is reporting that the director is interested in Jeff Bridges but hasn&#8217;t met with him yet. If Bridges were to sign on, Scott would have to wait until the actor films his comittments to <strong>R.I.P.D.<\/strong> with Ryan Reynolds and <strong>The Seventh Son<\/strong>.
