Let&#8217;s think about that for a moment. A screenplay written by the writer of <strong>The Usual Suspects<\/strong> is being rewritten by the guy responsible for the scripts for <strong>Live Free Or Die Hard<\/strong>, <strong>Unstoppable<\/strong>, and the remake of <strong>Race To Witch Mountain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20120701234406\/http:\/\/www.variety.com:80\/article\/VR1118042116\"><em>Variety<\/em><\/a> is stating that the rewrites are being done to accommodate a new character, Viper, who they describe as &#8220;the Caucasian scretary for Japan\u2019s Minister of Justice.&#8221; Comics fans will probably know that the character has a long and tangled history with Wolverine.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2011\/08\/25\/will-wolverine-shoot-in-japan-or-canada-or-both\/\" target=\"_blank\">Recently<\/a>, it looked as if problems in securing filming locations in Japan would push back the film&#8217;s start date from this fall to next spring.
