The script was a jumbled mess, rushed to completion ahead of the Writer&#8217;s Strike, the acting was atrocious and the direction was nothing more than a frenzied attempt to cover up those two big failings. Still, the movie made enough for Parmount to go ahead with a sequel. Now trailer editing can be deceiving, but this follow up does look like a step or two up, appropriate since incoming director John M Chu is perhaps best known for his work on the <strong>Step Up<\/strong> dance films. But rather think that I&#8217;m just operating under the lowest of lowered expectations, take a look for yourself below.
