\"\"<\/a>Dick Tufeld, the voice over artist whose narration of numerous trailers for Walt Disney in the 1960s was just a small part of his body of work, died Monday. He was 85<\/p>\n

Tufeld\u2019s voice was known not just to the generation that heard it in countless trailers for live action Disney films of the 1960s. He also supplied the voice for The Robot on the television series Lost In Space<\/em> with his warnings of \u201cDanger! Danger!\u201d becoming one of the most iconic things to be associated with the series. Tufeld reprised his voice role for the 1998 Lost In Space<\/strong> film.<\/p>\n

Tufeld began his career in radio in the 1950s before transitioning over to television. In addition to his Lost In Space work he also for producer Irwin Allen, providing narration for the shows Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea<\/em> and The Time Tunnel<\/em>. At Disney he served as the announcer on various series including the 1957-1959 Zorro<\/em>, which starred his future Lost In Space<\/em> co-star Guy Williams.<\/p>\n
