Marvel also released\u00a0the first issue of a digital miniseries that is advertised as a canonical prequel to the May 4 film.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marvel&#8217;s The Avengers Prelude: Fury&#8217;s Big Week<\/strong> is a eight-week digital comic book focusing on Samuel L. Jackson&#8217;s Nick Fury, and purports to fill in the blanks between the <strong>Iron Man <\/strong>films, <strong>The Incredible Hulk<\/strong>, <strong>Thor <\/strong>and <strong>Captain America: The First Avenger <\/strong>and set the stage for this year&#8217;s blockbuster.<\/p>\n<p>Much like your neighborhood crack dealer, Marvel is offering the first, twelve-page\u00a0issue for free, the rest you have to pay for. The\u00a0remaining issues will be released\u00a0every Tuesday starting February 14th for seven weeks and will cost $.99 each.<\/p>\n<p>The book can be purchased through the Marvel app for you smart devices, or through the digital comic service, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.comixology.com\/Marvel-s-The-Avengers-Prelude-Fury-s-Big-Week-1-of-4-\/digital-comic\/19979\">Comixology<\/a>. \u00a0What if digital comics are not your thing?
