Classic musicals like <em>Hello Dolly<\/em>, <em>Mame<\/em> and <em>Bye Bye Birdie<\/em> had songs added in when translated to the big screen while more recently the film adaptions <strong>The Producers<\/strong>, <strong>Chicago<\/strong> and <strong>Nine<\/strong> also featured new tunes. It\u2019s a maneuver that makes the show eligible for nomination in the \u201cBest Original Song\u201d Academy Award category, thus hopefully upping the film\u2019s total potential Oscar noms and wins.
