While many have, luckily for them, forgotten the 1989 Dolph Lundgren-starring attempt to bring the gritty, gun-totting vigilante to the screen, the 2004 version starring Thomas Jane is still fresh in memory. Both versions fell short of delivering on the promise of the material.<\/p>\n<p>While it is unclear that director Lexi Alexander will be able to succeed where others have failed, we do have a first look at Ray Stevenson in the title role. The picture below, released today, at least looks promising.
