But to this shortlist will we be adding &#8211; <strong>GI Joe: Retaliation<\/strong>? OK, granted John Chu&#8217;s follow-up to the 2008 toy line-adaption doesn&#8217;t have to be very good at all to still better than director Stephen Sommers&#8217; original hot mess of a film, but I am slowly starting to think that it might be at least an altogether not too painful way of passing two hours eating popcorn when it gets released on June 29.<\/p>\n<p>A new 30-second spot for the film just hit online this weekend and it mixes footage we&#8217;ve already seen in the two released trailers with a few seconds of new footage. (Ignore the YouTube poster who labeled this as a trailer. At 30 seconds, it&#8217;s a television spot and nothing more.)
