Writer\/director M. Night Shyamalan’s more recent films have not found the audiences that his earlier thrillers The Sixth Sense<\/strong> and Signs<\/strong> had. And it looks like the folks behind the marketing of his upcoming film The Happening<\/strong> are counting on people’s affection for those two movies with the copy they have placed on the teaser poster, which they released to the folks over at Coming Soon, for the film- “We’ve Sensed it. We’ve Seen The Signs. And Now…It’s Happening.”<\/p>\n

The film stars Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel as a couple who bought their marital troubles on hold to flee an environmental disaster that threatens to exterminate mankind.<\/p>\n

Shyamalan’s eco-thriller is set to open Friday, June 13, 2008.<\/p>\n
