{"id":19329,"date":"2012-03-15T19:58:16","date_gmt":"2012-03-16T00:58:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/?p=19329"},"modified":"2012-03-16T05:53:59","modified_gmt":"2012-03-16T10:53:59","slug":"jurassic-park-3d-re-release","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2012\/03\/15\/jurassic-park-3d-re-release\/","title":{"rendered":"JURASSIC PARK 3D Re-Release Stomping Your Way In 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/JurassicParkLogo1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"260\" \/>A little while back I was wondering through a cineplex and for a brief moment it felt like I had travelled back in time to the 1990s, what with the all the posters advertising the re-releases of<strong> Star Wars Episode 1<\/strong>, <strong>Titanic<\/strong> and <strong>Beauty And The Beast<\/strong>, all converted to 3D. It seems as if that feeling of <em>deja vu<\/em> isn&#8217;t going to go away soon as it has been announced that a 3D conversion of Steven Spielberg&#8217;s classic Jurassic Park will be coming out way in the summer of 2013.<\/p>\n<p>It seems like an odd move from Spielberg who expressed regret after altering his classic <strong>E.T.<\/strong> for a DVD release by changing the guns in the hands of the government agents chasing the lead characters into less-threatening walkie-talkies. Spielberg received criticism for the digital switch and vowed that he wouldn&#8217;t alter that or any of his other films ever again. More recently he did express an interest in possibly converting<strong> Jurassic Park<\/strong> to 3D, so I guess as long as he keeps the original available he&#8217;s not really gone back on his word.
