Brian Duffield&#8217;s original rom-com script made it onto the 2010 Black List and centers on a man who returns home for his sister&#8217;s wedding to find out that one of her bridesmaids is an ex-girlfriend with whom he did not have a very civil breakup.<\/p>\n<p>I read the script last year and definitely found it several notches above standard rom-com fare, though my opinion may be colored slightly by the fact that it was set in the town I grew up in Harrisburg, PA.
