\"\"<\/a>With less than six months to the premier of its first part, Peter Jackson has announced via his Facebook<\/a> page that principal photogrpahy has wrapped on his two-film adaoption of J R R Tolkien’s The Hobbit<\/em>.<\/p>\n

We made it! Shoot day 266 and the end of principal photography on The Hobbit. Thanks to our fantastic cast and crew for getting us this far, and to all of you for your support! Next stop, the cutting room. Oh, and Comic Con!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Although the first half of the adaption, An Unexpected Journey, hits theaters on December 14, though we will be should be seeing bits and pieces over the next couple of months from whatever Jackson and company have in mind for San Diego Comic Con next week to a number of trailers and clips that should be released as part of the film’s marketing campaign.<\/p>\n
