Wong is perhaps best known for directing 1996\u2019s <strong>Crime Story<\/strong>, one of Jackie Chan\u2019s best films. He has also directed the 1998 action comedy <strong>The Big Hit<\/strong> starring Mark Wahlberg.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.deadline.com\/2012\/07\/kirk-wong-six-hyde-park\/\" target=\"_blank\">Deadline<\/a>, the film\u2019s story &#8211;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>[F]ollows a mad scientist who fuses human and animal genes to create fierce fighters. A group of five must join together when another of their kind sets out to hunt them down and harness their powers. The project also has elements of romance and Manga.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>OK. That sounds a bit nuts but in a fun way.<\/p>\n<p>There is no cast in place yet, but producers are looking at a mix of Asian and American actors for the film.
