The Hollywood Reporter&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20121122161757\/http:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com:80\/heat-vision\/wolverine-scribe-tapped-dawn-planet-apes-mark-bomback-380042\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heat Vision<\/a> blog is stating that <strong>Wolverine<\/strong> writer Wolverine Mark Bomback has been brought on board to take a pass through the script.<\/p>\n<p>Bomback will be working from original writers Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa&#8217;s draft, tailoring the material towards Reeves&#8217;s strengths. Scott Burns <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2012\/05\/16\/contagion-scripter-hired-for-next-planet-of-the-apes-sequel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">had previously<\/a> done a polish on the screenplay, but that was while Rise director Rubert Wyatt was still attached to the project.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t Bomback&#8217;s first encounter with the franchise. He did some uncredited rewriting work on the last year&#8217;s franchise reboot <strong>Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes<\/strong>.
