Unfortunately, that means taking time out to remember those great moviemakers, be they writers, directors, actors or technicians, who have passed away during the previous twelve months. As they have the past few years, the folks at TCM have given us a tender farewell to those who have left us in 2008. (And I have to add that I chuckled when I saw that Isaac Hayes&#8217; clip was <strong>I&#8217;m Gonna Git You Sucka<\/strong> of all things.)<\/p>\n<p>While it may sadden us to know that we are denied anything new from them, their contributions will entertain and inspire audiences for generations to come.
