That goes doubly so when one of those creative types won an Academy Award for their work. So it is indeed good news that Bret McKenzie, whose \u201cMan or Muppet\u201d from last year\u2019s <strong>The Muppets<\/strong> snagged a Best Original Song Oscar, is returning to pen more tunes for the currently in development, untitled sequel.<\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t know how many songs McKenzie will be creating for the film, but then there are a number of details about the project that are currently in lock-down. We do know that <strong>Muppets<\/strong> star Jason Segal <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2012\/03\/05\/jason-segel-states-that-he-wont-be-back-to-act-in-muppets-sequel-either\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">will not be back<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2012\/11\/01\/waltz-signs-onto-muppets-sequel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">filling his place<\/a> as the human lead will be Christoph Waltz, playing an Interpol inspector.
