\"\"When Superman flies into theaters next summer, you\u2019re going to be seeing a lot more of him. Warner Brothers has announced that the franchise relaunch, Man Of Steel<\/strong>, will be released in theaters not only in standard 2D presentation but in 3D and IMAX formats as well.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that director Zack Snyder did not shoot the film in either of the formats, so they have been converted as part of the post-production process. Caveat emptor.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what the press release from Warner Brothers had to say – <\/p>\n

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures announced today that director Zack Snyder\u2019s upcoming action adventure \u201cMan of Steel\u201d will be presented in 3D in select theaters, as well as in 2D and IMAX\u00ae, so fans of the iconic superhero will be able to experience the much-anticipated movie in their format of choice. <\/p>\n

Snyder stated, \u201cThe film is going to be a visually exciting experience in all formats: 2D, 3D and IMAX. Anticipating how audiences today embrace 3D, we designed and photographed the movie in a way that would allow \u2018Man of Steel\u2019 to captivate those movie goers, while respecting fans who prefer a more traditional cinematic experience. We\u2019ve taken great measures to ensure the film and the story come first, and 3D is meant as an enhancement.\u201d <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Man Of Steel<\/strong> stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent\/ Superman, Amy Adam, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne. It opens June 14.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
