Vin Diesel is a producer on the project and is expected to play the title role.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kojak\u00a0<\/strong>was a police procedural that ran on CBS from 1973 to 1978. It rose above the typical cop shows of the time due to the charm and charisma of Telly Salvalas in the lead role.
