{"id":25877,"date":"2013-01-14T09:41:28","date_gmt":"2013-01-14T14:41:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/?p=25877"},"modified":"2014-03-02T11:25:31","modified_gmt":"2014-03-02T16:25:31","slug":"first-look-at-triplets-of-belleview-prequel-swing-popa-swing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2013\/01\/14\/first-look-at-triplets-of-belleview-prequel-swing-popa-swing\/","title":{"rendered":"First Look At TRIPLETS OF BELLEVIEW Prequel SWING POPA SWING"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I don\u2019t think that there are many people who didn\u2019t come away from Sylvain Chomet\u2019s Academy Award-nominated <strong>The Triplets Of Belleville<\/strong> without having been entranced by its mixture of 1920s hot jazz and rubbery Fleischer Studio- influenced animation.<\/p>\n<p>Chomet is in the process of returning to the world he created for Triplets with a prequel entitled <strong>Swing Popa Swing<\/strong>. Presumably it will tell the story of how the Triplets became big jazz stars in their youth.<\/p>\n<p>Right now, the animator has the project in development and will be looking for financing to make it happen at this March\u2019s Cartoon Movie conference of distributors and producers in Lyon, France.
