\"DakotaFanning\"<\/a>Dakota Fanning has been cast to play Beverly Aadland, the teenage girlfriend of swashbuckling actor Errol Flynn in the upcoming biopic The Last Of Robin Hood<\/strong>. Fanning will be starring opposite Kevin Kline who will be playing the actor with the notorious taste in young women. (He managed to beat an indictment of statutory rape in 1942.)<\/p>\n

Susan Sarandon is also attached to the project as Beverly\u2019s mother Florence, who wrote a tell-all book about her daughter\u2019s relationship with Flynn in 1961, The Big Love<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The elder Aadland stated that the actor met her daughter on the Warner Brothers lot when she was just 15 and that the two entered into a sexual relationship soon afterwards. Beverly would later confirm her mother\u2019s allegations in 1988. Flynn, who was still married to actress Patrice Wymore at the time of his relationship with Aadland was able to get the girl cast in his 1959 film Cuban Rebel Girls<\/strong> and reportedly had lobbied for the both of them to star in director Stanley Kubrick\u2019s screen adaptation of Nabakov\u2019s novel Lolita<\/em>. (Take a moment to wrap your head around that one!)<\/p>\n

When Flynn died of a heart attack at the age of 50 in 1959, it was reported that Aadland was at his side, though there are salacious rumors that state the couple was in flagrant delecto<\/em> when Flynn expired.<\/p>\n

Beverly Aadland died in 2010.<\/p>\n

Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland, the directing team behind Quinceanera<\/strong>, will direct from their own script. Filming is expected to begin next month.<\/p>\n
