{"id":26213,"date":"2013-01-29T08:15:37","date_gmt":"2013-01-29T13:15:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/?p=26213"},"modified":"2016-08-21T18:44:42","modified_gmt":"2016-08-21T22:44:42","slug":"is-this-the-shortlist-for-guardians-of-the-galaxys-gamora","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2013\/01\/29\/is-this-the-shortlist-for-guardians-of-the-galaxys-gamora\/","title":{"rendered":"Is This The Shortlist For GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY&#8217;s Gamora?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/GamoraShortlist.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26215\" alt=\"GamoraShortlist\" src=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/GamoraShortlist.jpg\" width=\"550\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>We&#8217;ve heard a bit about casting for Marvel Studios&#8217; <strong>Guardians Of The Galaxy<\/strong>, specifically, the hunt to find an actor to play the group&#8217;s leader Star Lord and the possibility that the studio is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2013\/01\/23\/jim-carey-and-adam-sandler-rumored-for-guardians-of-the-galaxy\/\" target=\"_blank\">considering<\/a> Jim Carey and Adam Sandler for either one or two roles.<\/p>\n<p>But there has to be work being done on filling the group&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2012\/07\/16\/who-are-the-guardians-of-the-galaxy\/\" target=\"_blank\">other roles<\/a>, right?<\/p>\n<p>The Facebook page Marvel Cinematic Universe thinks they have the shortlist of actresses in the running for the role of alien warrior Gamora. They are Adrianne Palicki (<strong>G.I. Joe: Retaliation<\/strong>), Kristanna Loken (<strong>Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines<\/strong>), Moon Bloodgood (<strong>Terminator Salvation<\/strong>), Rachel Nichols (<strong>G.I Joe: The Rise Of Cobra<\/strong>), and Rosario Dawson (<strong>Sin City<\/strong>). The page also states that all five actresses are set to audition for the part.
