Warner Brothers seems to think so too, as they have just hired Carter Blanchard to take a run at the project which currently has <strong>Zombieland<\/strong> and <strong>Gangster Squad<\/strong> director Reuben Fleischer<a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2012\/09\/25\/zombielands-ruben-fleischer-to-direct-spy-hunter\/\" target=\"_blank\"> attached<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re not familiar with Blanchard&#8217;s work, you&#8217;re not alone. The relative newcomer has not had any work produced yet, though his spec <strong>Glimmer<\/strong> was bought by DreamWorks, though it doesn&#8217;t appear as if they&#8217;re doing anything with it.<\/p>\n<p>Warners has been trying to make this project work for nearly a decade now. John Woo was the first director to give it a try with Dwayne \u201cThe Rock\u201d Johnson attached before Paul W. S. Anderson took a run at the material. Just a few years ago Chad St. John had worked on a draft of a screenplay.
