Matthew Reeves is set to direct this sequel to the studio&#8217;s franchise reboot <strong>Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/heat-vision\/zero-dark-actor-jason-clarke-421981\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a> was the first to break the news and they offered up the first story details about the sequel &#8211;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Much of the plot is being kept under lock and key, but it is set 15 years after the events of 2011\u2019s Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which starred James Franco. One focus is on the human scientists who are struggling to survive alone in San Francisco.
