Marvel Studios has released five new photos showcasing both in front of and behind the cameras at their upcoming Thor: The Dark World<\/strong>. There’s some views of Chris Hemsworth returning at the titular God of Thunder as well as our first really good look at Christopher Eccelston as the film’s main villain Malekith. <\/p>\n

In addition to Hemsworth and Eccelston, Thor: The Dark World<\/strong> also star Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsg\u00e5rd, Idris Elba, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo, and Anthony Hopkins.<\/p>\n

Marvel’s official synopsis of the film is as follows – <\/p>\n

Marvel\u2019s Thor: The Dark World continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself.
