She&#8217;ll be taking that experience and applying to another heroic heroine as MGM and GK Films have hired her to pen the screenplay for their planned reboot of the <strong>Tomb Raider<\/strong> video game adaptation franchise.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/variety.com\/2013\/film\/news\/buffy-the-vampire-slayer-marti-noxon-tomb-raider-mgm-1200496236\/\" target=\"_blank\">Variety<\/a> is reporting Noxon&#8217;s hiring and offers this as to what the film&#8217;s plot may be &#8211;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Story is still being worked out but will likely follow archaeologist Lara Croft as she sets off on one of her international adventures.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Well done Variety. Way to go out on a limb with your speculation.<\/p>\n<p>Since <em>Buffy<\/em> and its spinoff <em>Angel<\/em> ended, Noxon has worked on a number of television series including <em>Grey&#8217;s Anatomy<\/em> and its spinoff <em>Private Practice<\/em>, <em>Mad Men<\/em> and <em>Glee<\/em> and wrote scripts for the <strong>Fright Night<\/strong> remake and <strong>I Am Number Four<\/strong>. She also did work on the unproduced <strong>Pride And Prejudice And Zombies<\/strong> and <strong>Ouija<\/strong> projects. But she has yet to find the real kind of breakout success that many thought would be hers following <em>Buffy<\/em>.
